Emails

As an order or shed is being designed within the JDM ecosystem, the various JDM sites will email any relevant party. Each site has different systems in place to email the correct party, in order to ensure that all individuals have the information that pertains to them.

Shedbuilder

Shedbuilder only sends out an email during checkout. This occurs regardless of where checkout occurs, either through the builder, or through Order Admin. Once the shed has been purchased, an email containing several pdfs are sent to both the customer and the salesperson. The emails differ slightly between the two recipients.

  • The Customer will recieve the Order Confirmation, The Terms and Conditions, Warranty, Site Prep Flyer and the FInishing Instructions pdfs.

  • JDM Order Entry (customercare@jdmstructures.com) will recieve the Order Entry, Order Confirmation, Order Colors, Order Elevations and Order Drawings pdfs.

Garagebuilder

Garagebuilder has a lot of similiar systems to Shedbuilder. Garagebuilder also sends an email to both the Customer and Order Entry when a garage is ordered. However, Garagebuilder sends the same email to both parties. Both the Customer and Order Entry recieve Order Entry, Order Confirmation, Order Colors, Order Elevations and Order Drawings pdfs.

Outdoors

Outdoors has several instances in which an email is sent out:

  • Share: An email containing a user's cart will be sent to an email address of the user's choice.
  • Talk To a Kidzspace Design Pro: This email is a confirmation of a user's request to talk to a Kidzspace representative. It contains all the contact info of the user for a JDM representative to reach out.
  • Talk To a shelter Expert: This option sends an email to customercare@jdmstructures.com.
  • Checkout: Outdoors sends multiple emails out once an order is submitted. One is sent to the customer, and one is sent to Order Entry at customercare@jdmstructures.com.
    • The two emails sent out in this case are similar. The Customer will get information about their order ID, and Customer Care will recieve an email with additonal payment information.

Structures

On the Structures page, when a shed is reserved, each of the dealer users associated with the order’s Inventory Location gets an email. If there are no dealer users associated with the location, the email will go to customercare@jdmstructures.com. In addition, the individual who reserved the shed will receive a reservation confrimation email.
