Checkout¶
Checkout Process¶
Checkout for Garagebuilder works similarly to the one on Shedbuilder. Users will be required to enter shipping and billing addresses, contact information and have the opprotunity to apply Adjustments and Promo Codes.
The difference between the two systems is that a customer is not checking out the full price of the Garage they are designing. Rather, the checkout process is to secure an evaluation of the site on which the customer wants the Garage to be built. Further payment is handled directly between JDM and the Customer at a later time. The Garagebuilder application is strictly to design and quote the Garage to be built. Users have the abililty to choose how extensive they want the site visit to be during checkout, and can opt to pay for only the Site Visit, or for the Plan Deposit as well.
As opposed to Shedbuilder, Garage Builder uses Stripe to process payments. Only Credit Cards are accepted, and there are no payment plans available.
Quotes¶
Quotes in Garagebuilder work the same as Shedbuilder. Select the 'Quote' Button from the top ribbon of the page, fill out the contant info form, and press submit.
A PDF will then be generated.
- This PDF will then be sent to both the Client and to the JDM sales team to be followed up with.
